Waterworks India:Four Engineers and a Manager

This film is a homage to five barefoot Indian rural engineers who have kept alive the tradition of water harvesting. The camera goes to the remote cold desert of Leh to far south in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Then it visits two outstanding rural engineers in Rajasthan who describe how they make these structures and hear them expressing concern about the future of the survival of their technology.
